Freedom Drone

We are creating a brighter safer future for the citizens of LA. Our apps will empower local government to monitor and assist their citizens via Freedom Drones that will hover over the city. The drones will be equipped with facial recognition technology so that the drones may locate and monitor suspicious individuals. This will work as a pre-crime tool by monitoring things such as twitter feeds, foursquare checkins, and Tracebook (errrm... facebook) activity. We will stop all uprisings, prevent crime, and keep our cities safe for our children. If you do not vote for this team, you obviously have something to hide.

Most regulations around drones would prevent this. Beyond that there’s no way you could feasibly afford a drone with a long enough battery life to make this practical

Someone clearly does not understand the proper usage of the word “freedom”. Government monitoring of individuals creates a free state? Trying moving to communist China if you prefer that level of government involvement in your daily life.

Cardinal Richelieu’s statement “If one would give me six lines written by the hand of the most honest man, I would find something in them to have him hanged”, referring to how a state government can find aspects in a person’s life in order to prosecute or blackmail that individual.
